The principle

• The massive clamping heads fit into the solid chuck body, providing for a rigid clamping.
• The pull-back effect onto the end-stop provides additional stability to the work piece.

• The ease of change-over of SPANNTOP chucks is unsurpassed, even if the size of these chucks requires a different changing method.
• Even on these large chucks, the change-over does not present a problem.
• The end-stop and clamping head are simply changed together.

How it works
The clamping head is locked into the coupling via a bayonet connection. The bayonet is actuated in the changing mechanism with a removable wrench. On a vertical spindle machine, the clamping head and end-stop can be changed using the pick-up function. An additional pallet changer is required for this operation.
