capteX machine interface: The fixed, precise, and rigid solution

back to overview
| MARBACH. HAINBUCH, the manufacturer of clamping devices, is already known for its user friendly set-up solutions. But setting-up a machine within 30 seconds is also a little revolution for the company. capteX, the latest development of HAINBUCH, makes it possible and opens up now completely new perspectives for users concerning workshop standardization.
With capteX machine interface, HAINBUCH is now bringing a quick-change system to the market that neither the centrifugal forces in turning jobs, nor the extreme static transverse forces associated with milling can harm. Thanks to an ingenious ring mechanism with sliding wedges the interface can be fixed into place with incredible stability. The resistance to deflection is practically indistinguishable from a conventional clamping setup that employs multiple screw joints. However, a clamping device must not only provide rigid and stable clamping, it must also offer the capability of being changed as quickly as possible. In this regard, the HAINBUCH development team has found a simple and effective solution. With just a single, easily-accessible screw the user can loosen and clamp the entire interface - including the draw mechanism of the clamping device.

| Clever inner workings, new possibilities Like most of the HAINBUCH clamping devices, capteX also utilizes the pioneering CENTREX technology: Precision steel balls that have been vulcanized into a rubber ring ensure that the system positions with < 0.003 mm repeatability. capteX can be easily joined and separated and is extremely insensitive to contamination, since only the steel balls have point contact. So that the zero-point system can also be used safely on a rotating spindle the capteX is equipped with a positive-fit bayonet that is also responsible for the extreme resistance to deflection.
As is usual at HAINBUCH the system is suitably configured for all conceivable machines: Also, with the capteX machine interface, all machines in a production facility can be standardized in one stroke, and the clamping devices in manufacturing can be swapped from machine to machine as desired in just a few seconds. Thus it is a solution that opens up totally new possibilities - and an incredible savings potential.
Currently, capteX is available for stationary use on dividing attachments, turntables, as well as slowly rotating spindles upto 1800 rpm. A further development for fast rotating spindles will be ready for the market in the near future. |
