Hainbuch Introduces Stationary Chuck

The new MANOK plus stationary chuck from HAINBUCH Workholding Technology is designed to be changed from standard clamping head to mandrel adapter or jaw chuck in less than two minutes. In addition, a milled surface allows it to be set up for horizontal applications.

Changing from outside to inside clamping is possible without removing the chuck from the machine. Remove the clamping head and replace with a segmented mandrel for inside clamping or jaw adapter for outside clamping with twice the clamping range.

Because MANOK plus can also be fitted horizontally, bar work is possible. There is the further possibility of laterally fitting work piece end-stops. By means of locating grooves, a more exact orientation on the machine table is possible. In addition, the optional adjustable overload device allows for finer clamping.

The MANOK plus uses all clamping heads and end-stops that were already in use on the lathe. Alignment surfaces and fixing grooves are part of the standard product, as well as the integrated base end-stop and work piece depth stop.
