About ‘plus’… There is now an improved version, MANOK plus. It offers the same quality as MANOK, and additional options as well: The releasing action now works mechanically, and not through springs as up to now with MANOK. This integrated forced opening allows a higher releasing force, which for example allows full use to be made of the adaptability of the SPANNTOP pull-back chuck on the lathe [MANDO Adapt mandrel-in-chuck and jaw adapter]. Within only two minutes, MANDO Adapt, the mandrel adaptation, is mounted in the stationary chuck. Also, with the jaw adapter, the mounting lasts only two minutes. Twice the clamping range is available and it goes without saying that clamping heads and end-stops which were already in use on the lathe can be used with MANOK plus. Alignment surfaces and fixing grooves are part of the standard product, as well as the integrated base end-stop and work piece depth stop. Because MANOK plus can also be fitted horizontally, even bar work is possible. There is the further possibility of laterally fitting work piece end-stops. By means of special locating grooves, a simpler and more exact orientation on the machine table is possible. In addition, the optional adjustable overload device allows clamping with a ‘fine touch’.
